On July 12, the Honor Magic V3 was introduced in China. The flagship foldable smartphone has a book-like shape and has a number of improvements over the previous model, such as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 120Hz LTPO OLED display, and 66W rapid charging. As a component of the Magic V3 series, it was first presented in Magic Vs3. Additionally, user preferences and artificial intelligence (AI) are integrated into the camera system.
Honor Magic V3 price
The 12GB and 256GB models of the Honor Magic V3 start at 8,999 yuan, or roughly Rs. 104,000. The prices for the storage options with 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB are CNY 9,999 (about Rs. 115,000) and CNY 10,999 (roughly Rs. 127,000), respectively.

The four hues of this smartphone—black, green, red, and white—will be available in China starting on July 19.
Specifications of Honor Magic V3
A 7.92-inch Full HD+ LTPO OLED display measuring 2344 x 2156 pixels and a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED display measuring 2376 x 1060 pixels are the two display types available on the Honor Magic V3. Pen input, a maximum brightness of 5000 nits, and 4320 Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) for eye safety are supported by both screens.

The phone’s internal components include the newest 3rd generation Snapdragon 8 CPU, which can support up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Running on Android 14, it is powered by MagicOS 8.0.1. Additionally, the Honor C1+ RF chip is peculiar to this smartphone.
Regarding optics, the Honor Magic V3 has three rear cameras: a 40MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP periscope lens, and a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). There is a 40-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with a front-facing configuration. A motion sensor with artificial intelligence is one of the artificial intelligence features built into the camera system.

A 5150mAh carbon silicon battery powers the smartphone and allows for 50W wireless fast charging and up to 66W cable fast charging. The Magic V3 boasts two SIM capabilities, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and OTG for connectivity. With support for A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, it boasts outstanding navigational skills.
The foldable smartphone weighs 226 grams (leather) or 230 grams (glass), depending on the configuration. IPX8 refers to water and dust resistance. The AI defocusing technology that Honor introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Shanghai in June is also included in the Magic V3.
